S3 Channel is set to dazzle viewers nationwide with the live broadcast of the Miss World South Africa 2024 pageant on Saturday, October 5, at 20:30. Taking place at the prestigious Sun City in the North-West Province, this glittering event will feature ten exceptional finalists competing for the crown and the chance to represent South Africa at the Miss World finals in February 2025.

Hosted by Metro FM’s charismatic ProVerb, alongside the reigning Miss World South Africa, the event promises a night of beauty, talent, and humanitarian celebration. Backstage insights will be shared by Dr Claude Mashego, who will guide viewers through the behind-the-scenes action.

According to Sunday World, this year’s pageant will pay tribute to Lesego Chombo, the reigning Miss World Botswana and the 71st Miss World Africa, celebrating her achievements as an inspiration for the contestants and audience.

The evening will also feature live performances from beloved South African artists, including The Mahotella Queens, Theo Nhlengethwa, and Mthandazo Gatya, providing a vibrant backdrop for the competition.

A distinguished panel of judges, including Rea Malatji, Dr Norman Cahi, Malaak Compton-Rock and Taibo Bacar, will have the difficult task of selecting the winner from a group of remarkable young women.

Tune in to S3 for an unforgettable night as a new ambassador is crowned, ready to carry South Africa’s hopes to the global stage.
