Miss South Africa Qhawekazi Mazaleni Jumps Into 25 in the Most Thrilling Way

Miss South Africa 2025, Qhawekhazi Mazaleni, recently celebrated her 25th birthday in a thrilling and unforgettable way. Instead of having an ordinary birthday celebration, the beauty queen decided to challenge herself by going bungee jumping at the famous Soweto Towers.

Qhawekhazi shared the exciting moment with her followers on Instagram. Before taking the big leap, she happily said, “We are about to jump into 25!” Her excitement could be felt as she prepared to step off the tower.

In the video, Qhawekhazi can be seen screaming as she finally jumped from the tower. While she was clearly feeling both excitement and fear, she completed the jump safely and proudly. It was the perfect way to welcome a new chapter in her life and celebrate turning 25.

Along with the video, she shared a heartfelt birthday message. She wrote, “Leaping into 25. Untamed, fearless and knowing I’m secure in Him! What a beautiful birthday. Thank you for making me feel so loved and celebrated. My life always works out when I jump both feet in, here’s to another year of saying yes! Just like today, ‘Ningand’bambi’… I’m all in.” The Zulu phrase “Ningand’bambi” means “don’t hold me back,” showing her determination to embrace every opportunity that comes her way.

On her birthday, Qhawekhazi also took a moment to reflect on how much her life has changed. She shared a TikTok video that she recorded back in 2023 while she was still at university in her final year of her undergraduate degree. The video reminded her of the dreams she had before becoming Miss South Africa.

Sharing the old clip, she wrote, “She had no idea what was in store I turn 25 today with a fully developed frontal lobe. This was taken in 2023, I was 22 in this video about to complete my final exam the next day. And I’d saved up enough money to go to my first festival as a promise to myself- one that I still keep to this day. God has been so good to me. The growth since this stage of my life, the blessings and the lessons have all been worth it. I’m so grateful.”

Her birthday was made even more special by a touching message from the official Miss South Africa page on behalf of patron Dr. Precious Moloi-Motsepe.
