Nande expressed gratitude to her supporters, sharing a heartfelt Instagram post detailing her journey and hard work. Her words showcased her deep connection to both success and adversity. Beyond her personal accomplishments, Nande remains devoted to using her triumph as a foundation for ongoing inspiration among children.
In a long caption shared on Instagram, the Miss SA finalist wrote:
‘I walked on the Miss South Africa stage izolo. I made it into the Top 3 of Miss South Africa! I am still pinching myself. I said I would and I did.
I entered Miss South Africa wanting to be a tangible representation of a dream realized. Thank you for validating me by saying that is exactly what I did on that stage. That you felt represented. I have accomplished what I set out to do. This is why representation is important, that portal is necessary. I will continue my plans with my advocacy Dare 2 Dream to ensure that children in the township’s dreams and stories are not buried there.
Thank you for all the messages and well wishes. I cannot thank you enough for your support throughout my journey. Thank you for believing in me.
Can we please refrain from the “enter again” messages? I got everything I needed from the experience. I am not the same person I was when I entered. I am empowered. Children from my community are inspired. I have done what I set out to do.’
The post attracted a lot of congratulatory messages from her fans.
