Minnie Dlamini Shares Her Feelings On Raising Her Son Differently To How She Grew Up. Media personality and entrepreneur Minnie Dlamini’s transition into motherhood has been beautiful to watch. Whilst she has maintained a level of privacy when it comes to her son, once in a while she shares a glimpse into her motherhood journey.
Taking to social media recently in celebration of her son, Netha’s second birthday, the proud mama gushed over her bundle of joy and shared her heart on parenting differently to what she grew with. If you’ve followed Minnie then you’d know how much she adores her parents and how she often talks about growing up in a happy home with both parents. This however is not the case for her son following her split from husband Quinton Jones earlier this year.
Minnie shared her dreams for her son despite the way he is being raised. “I may not have been able to raise my son in a two parent home like how I grew up… but I will fight to give him the best life I possibly can! My ambition and drive have a deeper purpose because of my sonAnd when the time comes I WILL let you go to live YOUR best LIFE Happy Birthday Netha Let’s shake things up My King #NethaTurns Two,” Minnie wrote.
Minnie went on to celebrate her son’s birthday milestone by acknowledging the rains on his birthday which is where his name comes from. “My KING TURNS 2 TodayMy ancestors are rejoicingwith the symbol of rain in my family KUYANETHA A #SibalukhuluHAPPY BIRTHDAY MY Boy… Thank you to my village,” Minnie shared.
Happy two year motherhood anniversary to Minnie who joked about the day also being about her.
