Actress and TV presenter Minnie Dlamini recently sat down with Nounouche Online to talk openly about her life before and after marriage. The star shared her thoughts on love, timing, and family, giving fans a glimpse into her personal journey.
Minnie revealed that marriage had always been something she desired, but her union with Quinton Jones didn’t last long. In the interview, she reflected on how she thought about marriage and questioned whether the timing was right.
Speaking to MaBlerh, Minnie explained that she had always liked the idea of settling down and starting a family. However, she admitted that her marriage to her ex-husband Quinton happened at a time that may not have been perfect for her.
“When you told me that you were getting married, that was a shocker for me,” MaBlerh said. “I never expected you to ever get married,” he added. Minnie shared that even her parents were surprised. She joked about her decision, saying she got married because “someone asked, and she said yes.”
She elaborated, “I was in a relationship, I was in love, and it was the next step. At that point, I had three cars, my house was fully paid up, and the next step was getting a bigger house, and I bought my parents a car. So I was at a point where I said, maybe this is the next step. I’m not sure if that was necessarily what I wanted, but it was there, and I thought growing up with my mom and dad together, it was the next step.”
Minnie also reflected on the way she grew up. “I liked how we grew up, in a family, and we did things together. It is something that I have always wanted. But I just think my timing was off, but the opportunity came and I was like, okay,” she said.
The star added that she enjoyed her wedding and had a lot of fun on the special day. But marriage wasn’t the only topic on her mind. Minnie also spoke about her five-year-old son and the joy he brings her life.
When asked about the possibility of having more children, Minnie was clear: “No. I’m not having more kids. I just can’t do it. I love being a mom and my life is busy, but as it stands right now, I’ve got enough time to focus on my businesses, focus on my career and focus on my kid. I’m still able to be present, I don’t know if I can do that with another kid.”
