Minnie Dlamini Jones On Why Chooses To Go Full On Makoti At The Joneses! Minnie Dlamini aka Mrs Jones loves being married and being a makoti and it’s refreshing to see.

Minnie recently shared that she attended another family funeral on her husband’s side. Taking to Instagram after sharing a photo of herself wearing a doek, Minnie shared why that was important for her to do even though she’s not expected to.

“Even though I’m married into a different family that has different customs to mine, I will always observe protocol the way I was raised. A wife covers her head, shoulders and knees when at a family function. I love being able to celebrate where I come from in little things,’ she explained.

Minnie went on to add how she hopes observing her makoti duties will make her parents and husband proud. She opened up about how difficult it was attending a funeral after losing her brother but she wanted to honor her commitment to her husband and being a supportive wife. “I’m really glad I could be there for him as he has been for me,” she shared.
