Reflecting on her journey, Mia shared, “As I reflect on this incredible journey, my heart is full. None of it would have been possible without the love, support, and strength of my village. You’ve reminded me that when we uplift one another, something truly beautiful happens. When love overflows, it naturally finds its way back into the world.”

In a heartfelt gesture of appreciation, Mia is giving back to her supporters with an exciting giveaway. She announced, “To honour that spirit of togetherness and celebration, I’m giving away three double VVIP tickets to the Miss SA Finale this Saturday — that’s six seats to share in a moment that means so much. And here’s something truly special: two of those six guests will receive a once-in-a-lifetime upgrade — walk the red carpet, toast with champagne at the pre-event, and watch the show from front-row seats.”

Fans can enter by sending Mia a direct message with proof of their Miss SA ticket purchase. “This is more than just a giveaway. It’s my way of saying thank you, for believing, for showing up, and for walking this path with me. Let’s support our finalists, celebrate our stories, and share in this beautiful moment together. With all my love,” she added.

Last month, Mia hosted a Q&A session on Instagram, answering questions from her supporters. When asked about her proudest moments as Miss South Africa, she said, “The highlight of my reign was what matters most to me, making a lasting impact that will continue long after my reign. I helped in creating awareness for persons with disabilities, providing the gift of hearing (with the Dischem Foundation) to those who cannot afford it, and opening doors through learnership opportunities with the B4i Academy for individuals with disabilities. Empowerment, inclusion, and sustainability are at the heart of it all.”

Looking ahead to the end of her reign, Mia reflected on handing over her crown. “I’m approaching this next chapter with the mindset that handing over my crown doesn’t suddenly make me any less. In fact, it’s an opportunity to become even more. To build on everything I’ve already created and step confidently into what’s next. Every season shapes a new part of who we are, and this is simply a transition into a new and beautiful season of my life. And on the days when I feel a little bit sad, I’ll gently remind myself of this truth.”

Mia’s year as Miss South Africa has been defined by gratitude, empowerment, and meaningful action — a journey that celebrates not just beauty, but impact and community.
