They stand for empowering messages. A sound that bubbles over with captivating sonic spheres. For strong features. And for songs that connect. In short: Dr. Duda, J’Something and Mo-T aka MI CASA have long understood what the perfect mix of music with attitude and house, jazz, kizomba, funk, pop and soul sounds like. Need a little proof? Nothing could be easier, because THR3E is the highly anticipated sixth studio album from the South African powerhouse trio.
With the digitally released album THR3E, Dr. Duda, J’Something and Mo-T are catapulting a tribute to their friendship into the playlists of their fans. “Mi Casa is 3. We are a band and remove one of us and there is no Mi Casa. Dr.Duda, Mo-T and J’Something … WE are Mi Casa. There isn’t the one without the 3. This album is dedicated to the 13 years of friendship,” the musicians write in an emotional post on Instagram, making it clear that, as so often in life, it only works together.
THR3E is an album with which Dr. Duda, J’Something and Mo-T express their strong connection to their fan community. And so MI CASA makes their home ours with this ten-track longplayer. And ours to theirs. By shouting rousing messages, encouraging appeals and positive vibes out into the world. And songs like SEE THE WORLD (feat. Nelson Freitas) or WHO CARES (feat. Malik Harris) show that it is friendships, mutual support and a life-affirming view of our world that make our lives what they are. Always. Because that’s exactly what MI CASA stands for. Or to put it in the words of their latest single release SEE THE WORLD:
Get up! See the world!
Now it’s time to celebrate
Go on, get up!
See the world!
Now it’s time to celebrate
