If you want to be in the entertainment industry these days you need to know how to do it all apparently and the guys of Mi Casa seem to have gotten the memo.
First J Something bags his own show as a “celebrity chef” and now the musical trio has decided to release a short film. The film is apparently set to be a series of 5 music videos shot over the next 5 months that will eventually be put together to be one short film.
The music videos will basically touch on the history of South Africans and the unity that has taken place in our country over the past 20 years.
Mi Casa was recently interviewed about the film by City Press and when asked if the film was about issues that are close to their hearts the group replied:
“It’s showcasing the beautiful story of us as South Africans and the unity we have seen over the past
20-odd years. It’s really about the fact that there are these two black dudes and a white dude going around the globe representing this country of ours and making music that speaks volumes.”
The music video’s are also said to have a lot of local famous celebrities and actors. The first music video is set to be released mid April on TV and Mi Casa hopes to launch their film in cinema’s once they have the finished product.
“We will be releasing it in parts over the next five months … so part one should be out in a couple of weeks. After five months you will be able to put all the puzzles together and hopefully we can have a launch at cinemas once all five have been released.” they told City Press.
Looking forward to seeing the creativity that will come from Mi Casa and we wish them all the best and hopefully their concept will become a huge success.
Would you pay to go see Mi Casa in cinema?
