On Wednesday evening, the Miss South Africa 2024 finalists were announced, inviting the public to vote for their favourite contestants to secure a spot in the Top 25. Voting is open from May 22, 2024, at 5:15 PM to May 29, 2024, at 6 PM.
Leading the charge is Gauteng with 14 contestants, followed by KwaZulu-Natal with four, the Eastern Cape and Mpumalanga with three each, Limpopo and North West with two each, and the Free State and Western Cape with one each. The initial pool of entries has been narrowed down to 30 contestants, who will now compete in the “Crown Chasers” reality show, vying for a place in the finals.

Chidimma Vanessa Onwe Adetshina, 23, Gauteng
Hailing from Soweto, Chidimma is a model, netball player, and Bachelor of Law student at Varsity College. Passionate about sports and advocating against violence towards women and children, she is ambitious, confident, and optimistic. Her motto: “Dreams are valid when actions are taken.”
Nokulunga Zungu, 29, KwaZulu-Natal
From Umlazi, Nokulunga holds a BCom Business degree and is pursuing her honors at the University of South Africa. She describes herself as gracious and loving, with a mission to encourage youth to prioritize education and for the Department of Arts and Culture to invest in South African creatives.
Nobuhle Langa, 26, Mpumalanga
Based in Emalahleni, Nobuhle is an audit trainee aspiring to become a Chartered Accountant. She founded the Langelihle Youth Foundation and holds a Bachelor of Accounting Science from Wits University and a Postgraduate Diploma in Accountancy. Nobuhle is resilient, graceful, and fearless, hoping to collaborate with Imtiaz Sooliman to promote societal giving.
Kebalepile Ramafoko, 25, Mpumalanga
Also from Emalahleni, Kebalepile has a BA in Psychology and Languages and is working on her honours degree. A skills development facilitator, she is passionate about sports and youth empowerment. Determined and fun-loving, she believes sports can transform lives and build stronger communities.
Danae Kukard, 24, Eastern Cape
Danae, from East London, is a teacher and Stellenbosch University graduate. She is strong-willed, hardworking, and passionate about youth empowerment through mentorship, education, culture, and sport.
Lethaukuthul Ayanda Maseko, 24, Gauteng
Known as the “Diamond from Daveyton,” Lethaukuthul describes herself as a beacon of hope and resilience. Raised in Daveyton, she has turned her challenges into strengths, illuminating a path for others to forge their own unique destinies.
