The Cape Town Jazz Festival is getting even bigger with the addition of Masego to its 2025 lineup! According to YoMzansi, the highly anticipated festival will take place on April 25-26 at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC). Masego is set to perform on April 25, 2025, and fans can’t wait to see him live.
Masego is known for his smooth mix of jazz, R&B, and Afro-influenced sounds, making him a perfect fit for the festival. He joins British acid jazz legends Incognito and Cape Town’s rising trumpet star Muneeb Hermans, who were also recently added to the lineup.
This year’s festival will be headlined by American R&B sensation Ari Lennox. A special highlight of the event will be an exclusive performance by Grammy-winning DJ Black Coffee and renowned pianist Nduduzo Makhathini. This will be their first full-length performance together, promising a one-of-a-kind musical experience for attendees.
Other talented artists set to perform include South African music icon Thandiswa Mazwai, saxophonist Linda Sikhakhane, the Kyle Shepherd Trio, and bassist Benjamin Jephta featuring Kujenga.
