Masasa Reacts To Thembeka’s Death As She Bids Farewell To Scandal For Good! Scandals long time antagonist Thembeka Shezi played by Masasa Mbangeni has exited the soapie and fans are uniting to mourn the epic characters death.
Scandal fans are still recovering from the heartbreak after the witnessing the sudden death or murder rather of ‘Thembeka Shezi-Nyathi’ who was shot and killed by her rival Mthunzi Mayisa.
Fans who are shook are still hoping that she will make a return for the third time on the soapie as they felt that her death was too sudden for it to be over just like that.
Masasa reacted to all the love which went as far as a #RIPThembekaShezi hashtag that has been trending on twitter, by killing our dreams in a single tweet saying that because her school of acting didn’t teach her how to come back to a show as a ghost, we must learn to let go because Thembeka is “Dead dead”.
“Friend she’s really gone. Dead dead! Won’t be coming back as a ghost (they didn’t teach me how to act a ghost at Wits) let’s leave her be now. Let’s allow me an opportunity to play other amazing wonderful things or be a mom or be something other than her. It’s okay,” she said.
However our hope has been restored as the actress has hinted that she will be making a return to the silver screen in other amazing opportunities so we guess it’s okay.
In an Instagram tribute dedicated to her character, Masasa referenced a quote by Martha Graham about how like it or not, one must let their work exist in other mediums or it will be lost forever.
“…if you block it, it will never exist through any other medium and it will be lost. The world will not have it. It is not your business to determine how good it is nor how valuable nor how it compares with other expressions. It is your business to keep it yours clearly and directly, to keep the channel open,” she said.
