Mandisa Meyiwa Believes Kelly Khumalo Genuinely Loved Senzo! How is that for a plot twist beloveds? Mandisa has never publicly spoken about how she feels about her late husband’s other lover until now.
Senzo’s widow opened up and told her side of the story in a soon to be released book by an Author known as Soweto Mandlakazi which will be launched on 21 February 20 in Durban. Mandisa revealed more than expected considering how she has shied away from the media since her husband’s death.
According to an article by Sunday Sun, Mandisa revealed that Senzo‘s relationship with Kelly was not the first time he had cheated. Mandisa shared that the soccer star regularly cheated on her and once slept with her best friend.
On Kelly Khumalo, Mandisa said she doesn’t blame her for everything that went wrong in their marriage as she also contributed to its downfall.
“When we started with Senzo, we had nothing and yet when he had everything, he wanted Kelly. I do not blame her. I am not perfect by a long shot. I admit to my own flaws that aggravated my relationship with Senzo,” Mandisa is quoted in the book.
“I know we have both lost someone we loved deeply but I believe everything happens for a reason. I have learnt that, as a woman, you can do everything for a man. You can change a season and bring winter in summer but when he wants to leave you, even if you buy him something more expensive than a Hummer Kelly drove, he will find a reason to leave,” reads an extract from Mandisa’s chapter in the book.
