Mampintsha’s Mother Has Reportedly Passed Away. Sad news to come out of the weekend as reports say late musician Mampintsha’s mother has died less than a month after his passing.

Zamanguni Gumede reportedly passed away at Westworth Hospital in Durban. She was 64. The sad news come just a week after her daughter revealed the grieving mother ad been admitted to hospital after suffering a stroke. “She is not taking Mandla’s death well. She started feeling ill before him but got worse when he was first admitted to the hospital,” the daughter had said as she pleaded for donations to take her mother to a private hospital.

The daughter, Pinki confirmed to the Daily Sun about her mother’s passing saying, “When I left her she seemed to be fine. I was about to sleep when I received a call from the hospital. I was told to rush to her bedside because she wanted to see us. Now that she’s gone, I can see that she wanted to bid farewell to us. She told me she was old and that she was leaving. She asked if everyone was around and I said yes. She wanted to see Sponge, Mampintsha’s son and I told her he was not around. I could see the sadness in her eyes and she did not say anything. She gave us her blessing and we spent some time with her. We then left. At about 10h00 I received a call informing me that she is dead.”
