Loyiso MacDonald On Rumors He’s Replacing Hungani Ndlovu On Scandal! And Why He Left #TheQueenMzansi! For the past few weeks there has been rumors and speculations that actor Loyiso MacDonald was joining e.tv’s Scandal! to take over the role of Romeo from Hungani Ndlovu.

Whilst the reports were never confirmed the actor is now setting the record straight himself revealing he is not joining Scandal!. Speaking to MacG on his popular podcast, Loyiso shut down the rumors saying, “Scandal!? No! Serious, I’m not on Scndal! guys. There’s no way I was going to go from one long show to another, that’s not me,” Loyiso said.

On leaving The Queen Mzansi, Loyiso said there was no drama as expected considering how other actors on the show left. “It was time. From my side there was no negativity, there was no bad feelings. It was literally just me going you know what… as an actor I’m ready to move on and I’m ready to push myself a little bit more. Five years on a show is a long time and I think it was just about being honest with myself and say, “It’s time”.
