Loyiso MacDonald And His Wife Reportedly Call Their Marriage Quits. It seems like marriages don’t really last these days as yet another celeb is headed for divorce from their partner. The City Press publication has reported that former The Queen actor Loyiso MacDonald and his estranged wife have filed for divorce at the high court.
According to the publication the couple has been living apart for years on account of accusations of infidelity on made against Loyiso. According to court documents obtained by City Press, Loyiso’s wife Mathunzi Simphiwe MacDonald claims that there is no hope to ever reconcile with her estranged husband as they have lost all intimate feeling towards one another.
“The plaintiff (Mathunzi Simphiwe MacDonald) is of the belief that there is no reasonable prospect of the restoration of a normal marriage relationship with the defendant (Loyiso MacDonald) … the parties have lost their mutual love and respect for each other” the document reads.
Mathunzi has revealed that she is finding hard to move on from the Loyiso’s philandering ways and finds it pointless to continue with the relationship. Loyiso and his wife Mathunzi have been living separately from 2017 after walking away from a nine year marriage in 2016.
“The defendant has committed adultery and the plaintiff finds it irreconcilable to continue with the relationship; there is no meaningful communication between the parties.” the document reads.
Following their traditional wedding at Mthunzi’s hometown in Witbank, Mpumalanga in 2012, MacDonald told MacG on Podcast and Chill with MacG last year that he and his wife broke up in 2016 and became a heavy drinker during their separation.
