When it comes to comedy, Somizi is definitely a comedian in the making.
Going from choreographer during the day to our favourite Idols judge on Sunday evenings, he really knows how to get South Africa laughing.
The one thing that we love about Somizi is how he knows how to turn an ordinary experience into a really funny one for all his fans and social media followers.
And that is exactly what he did the other day.
While buying dinner ingredients one night, Somgaga decided to have a little fun at the store and act as a cashier for a few minutes. Can you imagine taking your groceries to the checkout and seeing his face sat behind the till? You wouldn’t believe it was actually him!
There will have been a lot of surprised customers. A lot of stores are updating their point-of-sale (pos) systems recently and there has been a move towards incorporating new technology. In particular, an ipad pos system has become very popular as it saves the store from having to have a member of staff manning a till. But if Somizi is going to be the person behind the till, we can imagine this store won’t be updating their system any time soon!
From what we’ve seen we really wouldn’t mind having Somizi as a cashier at our local Supermarket. It would definitely bring about a few giggles as he’s absolutely HILARIOUS!
