Singer and producer Lloyiso Gijana left fans stunned after an on-stage outburst during the Lemo Fest in Bloemfontein early Saturday morning. According to Sunday World, Lloyiso was scheduled to perform at 11 p.m., but didn’t take the stage until 1 a.m. This delay, combined with interruptions and being told to rush his performance, left the star frustrated.
During his performance, event organisers began teasing the next act, Nathi, who was already waiting backstage. This led to Lloyiso losing his cool. “I am f****n tired of artists being disrespected. Shout out to my fans, f**k you Lemo Fest,” he shouted before storming off the stage.
Nathi then performed, but the drama didn’t end there. After Nathi’s set, Lloyiso returned to the stage with Lemo Fest founder Freddie Kenney to apologise for the incident. “I apologise for swearing. Shout out to Lemo Fest for organising such a beautiful event. Thank you to my fans for your support,” said Lloyiso.
In a statement to Sunday World, Lemo Fest organisers confirmed that the issue had been resolved. They praised Lloyiso’s gratitude for being part of the festival and stressed their commitment to respect and unity for future events.
Despite the rocky moment, both Lloyiso and the festival seem ready to move forward, focusing on celebrating music and community.
