Lithapo’s Lorraine Moropa Reveals The Sexual Harassment She Faces At The Hands Of A Co-star.
Many media personalities have come out to reveal the inappropriate behavior of their co-workers in a sexual manner and actress Lorraine Moropa took to Instagram to share her grievance about a co-worker who has been displaying the same behavior.
Moropa took to Instagram in a lengthy post to share how she is constantly being sexually harassed by her senior and it is totally uncalled for. She continued to express how instead of her senior being a mentor to her, she has been a subject to violation and pain.
“Your senior, someone who’s meant to guide and protect you in the entertainment industry violates your human rights, that’s not even half the pain” Moropa wrote.
She further revealed that the man responsible for this foul behavior is also a father to a fellow thespian who is practically the same age as her, stating if the roles were reversed, he would most probably not take it very lightly.
Although she didn’t name and shame the accused, Lorraine expressed that she has had enough of the suffering and something needs to be done as she worked hard to be where she is in her career, and will no longer accept the poor behavior of men who can’t control themselves.
“What happens to our dignity as people in the industry allow such behavior? I for one am SICK AND TIRED. IT ENDS HERE AND NOW FOR ME!!!!! I did not sleep my way into any role and I refuse for my process to get into this industry and cement my name just for it to be tainted by someone who has zero self control or respect for us as professionals in the industry”
Actress and radio host Altovise also supported Moropa in her claims stating that she too suffered the same treatment at the hands of the same perpetrator.
