Former beauty queen Liesl Laurie says she friend-zoned Proverb. Liesl revealed the unexpected news on Jason Goliath’s talk show, ‘Larger Than Life’ when she got asked the uncomfortable question.

Asked where her relationship with Proverb stands, Liesl said they’re just friends. “I have friend zoned Proverb,” she said. Liesl explained that she is a young woman who is focused on making her dreams a reality.

We don’t know if we’re buying Liesl’s friend-zone story. The two were spotted getting cozy at the Durban July recenlty and are often seen together at events.
