South African model and Miss South Africa 2015, Liesl Laurie-Mthombeni, and her husband, media personality and diagnostic radiologist Dr Musa Mthombeni, are celebrating a beautiful milestone — their 4th wedding anniversary. The power couple, who tied the knot in 2021, once again proved why Mzansi loves them, as they shared sweet and heartfelt messages to each other on social media.
It looks like the pair decided to celebrate their anniversary in style. Liesl gave fans a glimpse of their special getaway by sharing breathtaking beach views and refreshing cocktails on her Instagram stories. She also poured her heart out to her husband in a touching post.
Liesl wrote: “Soulmated so hard that I want to know you forever because you are so deeply engrained in me, l wouldn’t even know what to do if I didn’t have you…
I love you @drmusamthombeni – Happy Anniversary. 4 years of bliss. 4 years of love, laughter, joy, peace & fulfilment. Thank you for the best days of my life thus far. I look forward to many many many more years of doing life with you.”
Not to be outdone, Musa shared his own heartfelt tribute, filled with love and a touch of humour. He wrote:
“Happy 4 years of marriage to this shooting star of a woman, Liesl Laurie-Mthombeni. Literally the best 4 years l’ve been doing anything. It’s our anniversary naughty girl. We did it and continue to do it.
To the lady that acts like she’s full so that I can eat the last of the food on her plate (BoombaDaddies). To the lady who eats the crust off my pizza slices. To the lady who owe me R500 that I know I’ll never get back.
You know I’m a shy person who isn’t good with words, so l have little to say on a special day such as this, except that marrying you was the best decision I’ve ever made. I’ll continue to choose you everyday until the end of time.”
Their anniversary posts melted hearts online, with fellow celebrities joining in to celebrate them. Moozlie commented, “Yoh guys. God bless you & keep you man. Just a few days before their anniversary, the couple had been enjoying some fun overseas. They were spotted at Hong Kong Disneyland, rocking Minnie Mouse ears, indulging in tasty food, and joking about the sweltering heat.
