Actress and content creator Lerato Nxumalo has shared a heartfelt message about gratitude, faith and choosing peace in her life. Taking to her Instagram Stories, Lerato opened up about how she believes God has been guiding her, even during moments when she felt lost and uncertain.

Lerato started by expressing deep gratitude for her life and the blessings she has received. She wrote, “I always say my luck is something that I cannot explain. I’m such a lucky person in general. Always been.” She then reflected on how, towards the end of 2025, she felt confused about her career and unsure about the direction her life was taking.

During this time, Lerato admitted that praying became difficult. She explained that instead of long prayers, she prayed short and simple ones just to stay connected. She shared, “God please put the right people in my path to lead me to where you want me to be and reveal things about myself that are still holding me back.” She also mentioned that she often asks God to reveal people’s true intentions, especially those closest to her.

Her story then moved to a special New Year’s Eve moment that she believes was an answer to her prayers. While sitting on the sand and waiting for her husband, Lerato was approached by a stranger who offered her a drink and later invited her and her husband to join his family. When they started talking about their careers, Lerato realised that the man was a very high-profile individual. She chose not to reveal his name for privacy reasons.

Lerato described the family as kind, humble and full of positive energy. She said the conversations she had that night gave her valuable life advice and the clarity she had been searching for. She believes God used that moment to speak to her, saying even the most simple and vague prayers are answered.

She also spoke honestly about social media and how it affects her spirit. Lerato shared that while she loves filming and documenting her life, sharing too much of her personal life drains her energy. She explained that negativity has affected her body, mind and soul, especially because she is deeply sensitive to energy.

Lerato added that the peace she felt while being away reminded her of the joy she felt as a child, before comparison and noise took over. In this season, she says she feels God calling her closer. For now, Lerato is choosing God, peace and purity, and focusing on creating in a way that protects her spirit and honours her faith.
