Reality TV star Lerato Modise has stepped into the world of filmmaking, announcing the release of her latest project, Tight Rope, on YouTube. The former Big Brother Mzansi contestant shared the film’s intriguing cover on Instagram, which features a haunting image of a young girl with tape over her mouth. Adding a creative twist, the “O” in the film’s title is depicted as a rope.

In her post, Lerato excitedly wrote, “The wait is over! To celebrate my new chapter, I will be sharing one of my short films with everyone on my YouTube channel. Thank you to everyone who was part of this journey, thank you @jhb48hp for allowing creatives like myself to share stories.”

Her fans were quick to shower her with praise, eager to dive into her new film and support her latest creative endeavour. Many followers expressed their excitement in the comments, anticipating another powerful story from the reality star.

Tight Rope isn’t Lerato’s first take into production. She previously worked with fellow Big Brother Mzansi contestantPapa Ghost on the theater production Baleka. The piece was released in July and commemorated South Africa’s historic Youth Day on June 16. Baleka was shown at the Civic Centre Theatre, highlighting Lerato’s growing presence in the South African arts scene.
