Lerato Kganyago Responds To Heavy K’s ‘Don’t DJ Like A Woman’ Statement! Heavy K is one of the few unproblematic DJs we have in Mzansi, all he knows is making hits after hits.

But on Thursday, Heavy K was quoted saying, “Don’t DJ like a woman, DJ like a man” during his interview on Metro FM with Masechaba and Mo Flava. Whilst it was only one line taken out of something more meaningful, the statement didn’t sit well with black twitter including DJ LKG.

Lerato took to twitter calling Heavy K for the sexist tweet. “Love Heavy K. But this is a very tacky quote,” she wrote. Heavy K later explained saying he meant that wanted to change people’s mentality on male DJs thinking they are better than female DJs.
