A lot have people may not know or understand some of the struggles that some celebrities had to go through to get to where they are today.

One of those celebrities is Lerato Kganyago now a number of you would think that we’re lying but, Lerato was a flight attendant before she made it big in the industry. Over the years she’s has been giving us the best of her when it comes to presenting and more recently we’re seeing more of her talents and ‘hidden’ gifts.

This week’s edition of DRUM Magazine features an exclusive interview with the triple threat Miss Lerato K about her struggles in the industry and building her brand to becoming the person she is today.

In the interview Lerato touches on the bad press that’s been surrounding her career and how she’s being compared to Bonang Matheba, with some blasts saying that she’s trying too hard to be like Bonang.

When she was asked how she feels about this Lerato had this to say “That’s an insult. It’s frustrating because I find myself trying to change my voice. I tried to change so I wouldn’t be compared to anyone, but I realised I’m being unfair to myself.”

Lerato went on further to tell DRUM that there really isn’t any beef between her and Queen B and that they’re okay with each other.
