Sipho 'Hotstix' Mabuse

The hit maker of Burn Out appeared in court on Wednesday morning on charges of assault and kidnapping.

Who could Sipho ‘Hotstix’ Mabuse possibly kidnap you ask?

Daily Sun reports that the musician decided to take the law into his own hands after he caught two men stealing from him.

According to the paper the two men that often work for  Sipho stole a battery from him and as soon as he found out he apparently put one of them in the boot of his car and beat him up several times, the second culprit was also later brought to the musicians home where he was also allegedly beaten a number of times.

It’s said that Sipho handed himself over to the police but insists that he did not use a hammer or gun to beat the men. According to him when he threatened to call the cops the two men pleaded with him and said that they would rather have him beat them up.

“I can’t do that. They are my children. I think because they knew where I put the battery, it was their intention to take it and resell it,” he told the paper.

Police spokesperson Lungelo Dlamini confirms that indeed the incident did take place and that Sipho will appear in court on Wednesday.

Sjoe! Now we know never to mess with him.
