Ryhab Niniwe Motsoane, the mother of the late celebrity chef Tebello ‘Tibz’ Motsoane, passed away on Thursday, 05 October 2023, at the age of 77. Her health had been in decline since the tragic death of her son, Tibz. Who was brutally murdered on Saturday, 10 February 2023. This double tragedy has left the family reeling, and the pain of their absence weighed heavily on their hearts.

Ryhab Niniwe Motsoane’s passing marks the end of a difficult and heart-wrenching journey for her. In the wake of Tibz’s untimely death, she had been struggling with her health. The news of her son’s brutal murder had taken a toll on her well-being. A relative, who chose to remain anonymous, revealed that Tibz had a deep and unwavering affection for his mother. He frequently made the effort to visit her on the East Rand, bringing thoughtful gifts and spreading love.

The loss of Tibz, who was the breadwinner of the family, was felt acutely. His mother’s health continued to deteriorate as she grappled with the immense grief of losing her only son. This reunification, while poignant for those who knew and loved them. Hence, serves as a testament to the deep bond between a mother and her child.

“To us, Tebello was a son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend. To many, he was Tibz Wa Bantwana, Chief of Cool, Summer Time Cool Creator, K1 K9, and many other affectionate names. He gave love in return. As we come to terms with the devastating truth that our only son is no longer with us. We appeal for your compassion, space, and time to congregate as a family to decide on the upcoming days.”

In conclusion, the passing of Ryhab Niniwe Motsoane is a somber reminder of the enduring impact of love, loss. The profound connection between a mother and her child. As the Motsoane family faces yet another chapter of grief. Therefore, they find solace in the knowledge that mother and son are now together in a place beyond the reach of earthly pain and suffering.
