Lamiez Holworthy Shares Her Views about Skin Lightening Products. DJ and presenter Lamiez Holworthy shared her opinions about the use of skin lightening products in the form of pills, injections and whatever else is under the sun, expressing that it’s just not something that she plans on ever doing.
Lamiez responded to an advert for skin bleaching products on twitter saying that without offending anyone who is pro skin bleaching, but she is totally content with her naturally dark skin.
She continued to state that what makes her value her skin now more than ever is because she was surrounded by critics throughout her upbringing who made her feel as though dark skin was not beautiful.
“No offense to anyone who deems it fit to bleach their skin but me? I my dark skin wholeheartedly! Now more than ever. Especially coz I grew up around people who made me feel like there was something wrong with it” Lamiez wrote.
Many South African celebrities have been trolled on social media for using such products on themselves such as Khanyi Mbau, Madam and her daughter Mercy, just to mention a few.
