Lamiez Holworthy just caught a bit of smoke following Vusi Nova’s new transformation. The streets of twitter have been going wild all day after award winning musician Vusi Nova introduced his brand new look.
Vusi must have thought a change was long overdue, because he definitely did the unexpected with this one. Vusi has now changed his stage name from Vusi Nova to SNova. That is not where it ends as the singer has also introduced Mzansi to his brand new edgier look which is the polar opposite of the Vusi that we all used to know.
A picture of SNova’s new look as been circulating on twitter and critics are having fun throwing shade and firing shots at him. A few social media users have even joked that he kind of looks like Usher or Lamiez Holworthy, especially because of the hairstyle. As uncool the comparison is, we have to admit that there is a little bit of a copy and paste situation that we see but thats a story for another day.
The Metro FM DJ caught wind of the talk and actually thinks it’s hilarious. Lamiez responded to the jokes asking why she is catching random strays from the sidelines. This is was a stern reminder for Lamiez that no one on twitter is safe from catch smoke.
“why am I out here catching strays unprovoked” she wrote.
This is not the first time that Vusi has rebranded himself having introduced himself as Vusi Nongxa, then changed to Vusi Nova, and now SNova. This is the singer’s new image as he ventures into Amapiano as he gears up to release his first ever Amapiano track titledΒ Shuku Shuku.
Judging by the comments on social media, we would say that the masses are not feeling the new him, but we have hope that once the song comes out critic will see the vision a little better.
