Lamiez Holworthy Livid After Fans Ambush Her For Pictures Whilst Sick In Hospital. We often see celebrities ranting on social media about how inconsiderate fans are to celebrities. Another popular celeb recently had one of those encounters with fans that just left a bad taste in her mouth. Metro FM DJ Lamiez Holworthy has become one of Mzansi’s most talked about celebs, so it’s no wonder why fans would want some photo time with her.
Taking to her Instagram story, Lamiez who describes herself as a people’s person shared how she doesn’t appreciate fans that don’t have respect for people personal time. After landing in hospital, the Live Amp host revealed how insensitive the health workers were to her after requesting to take pictures with her and simply ignoring the medical emergency that she was experiencing at the time.
Lamiez describes the counter as emotionally draining following her hospital visit that was ambushed by nurses who acted like groupies. The TV personality reminded her followers that celebs are human before anything else so they should also be given equal treatment and respect like anybody else. She also shared how livid she was by the lack of empathy that the health workers had for not treating her like a human being.
She continued to pen just how upset she was that she was denied time to experience and process her emotions at the time of being sick like a normal person should be allowed to do. The club DJ shared how instead she was followed around the hospital to take pictures with fans. She highlighted how hospitals are places were people go to heal and sometimes lose their lives, so people should conduct themselves in a more respectful manner when in such environments.
“I’m actually so upset. I couldn’t even go through my emotions like any normal person could. Instead I am being followed from one department to the next for a f*cking picture? By multiple people? At a HOSPITAL guys. A HOSPITAL where people fight for their lives and some die and lose their loved ones daily. You want a picture? of someone clearly not okay?” she wrote.
Even though she is a peoples person, the DJ appealed to fans for a little empathy and to be treated with a little more respect especially when they are going through sensitive and personal moments.
