The musically talented brothers Tebogo, Mpho and Tshepo Lerole allegedly owe Mama Nancy Mabena R40 000 that they promised to pay back within a month of borrowing it.
Mama Nancy feels that the trio has taken her kindness for-granted. Nancy went on to say that the brothers have basically ruined their reputation in Orlando and Meadowlands by failing to pay back money they borrow from people.
Mama Nancy was quoted by Daily Sun: “Last year in August they said they wanted to host talent search shows in Soweto.
“They seemed like good boys who were going to do great things for the youngsters of Soweto.
“I agreed to lend them R40 000 for a month. But they didn’t pay, and finally I took a letter of demand to them.
“The boys’ mum, Thembi, threw ointment at me and cursed me out of her yard,” claimed Mama Nancy.
She added: “The boys’ sister, Carol Lerole, got a protection order against me!”
They also approached one of the Kwela Tebza brothers, Tebogo, and he said: “This whole thing is bad and complicated at the same time.
“From now on I guess I will just have to deal with the courts as my family and I are implicated.”
In 2013 Sunday Sun reported that Kwela Tebza had allegedly borrowed stokvel money from Nomsa Ditshaba and were avoiding her and paying back the money.
