South African DJ and producer KMAT is currently in Anguilla, enjoying a luxury brand trip for the launch of Andrea Iyamah’s Spring/Summer 2025 collection. The talented Amapiano DJ is among 30 influencers from around the world who were invited to the stunning island to witness the highly anticipated fashion event.
Excited to share her experience, KMAT has been posting behind-the-scenes moments, from showcasing her outfits from the collection to enjoying breathtaking boat rides and delicious cuisine. Although she initially planned to vlog the trip, she faced a small technical issue. She explained to her fans, “I actually vlogged the whole thing, but unfortunately I just realized that my mic wasn’t working, so I’m going to post a dump to show you how beautiful it was. PS I’m still learning how to do this vlogging thing, so please don’t judge!!”
The Andrea Iyamah collection launch was a celebration of style, strength, and freedom. The designer, known for her bold and elegant pieces, described the new line as “freedom,” with colors inspired by the sunset. KMAT expressed how wearing one of the designs made her feel empowered, sharing, “She wants women to feel empowered, beautiful, free, strong, and classy when they wear her dresses. And I won’t lie, that’s exactly how I felt when I wore this beautiful dress!”
Beyond the fashion, KMAT was inspired by Andrea Iyamah’s leadership and creativity, especially her work alongside her sister. “It is so inspiring to see a beautiful Black woman lead such an amazing team, create such beautiful designs, and bring women to a beautiful island to experience her launch with her. This is really amazing—she IS really amazing!”
KMAT is not the only South African celebrity in Anguilla for this special event. Model and influencer Sarah Langa is also attending and has been sharing her own experiences from the luxurious trip on social media.
