Kelly Khumalo is back in the headlines again, not for her music this time. The ‘Asine’ is making headlines for her love life. In the same interview that she said Jub Jub was as good as non-existent, Kelly Khumalo says Senzo Meyiwa didn’t have a backbone.
Khumalo who said the relationship with Meyiwa was a waste of her time says she didn’t know he was married. “I was not aware that he was married. I feel like it was selfish of him not disclose that he was married and I will always feel like I was conned into the relationship based on dishonesty,” she said.
Kelly said if Senzo had made his point clear while he was still alive, she would not have gone through what she went through when he died. “I stand for what I believe in and I feel like he had no backbone.”
On Senzo’s father, the singer says she has never met him. “I don’t know the guy (Sam), I’ve never met him, I’ve never spoken to him. They called me all sorts of names and I don’t think I would gel with people like that.”
