Actress and TV personality Khanyi Mbau has warned against social media fraudsters who are using her name to scam people of their money without her knowledge. The scammers are reportedly using her famous identity to sell facial products.

Mbau who normally gets paid to endorse beauty products shared a video on her Instagram page warning her fans against the scammers. “I do not sell in social media”, she wrote.

‼️WARNING‼️ THIS IS VERY SERIOUS! SOMEONE IS USING MY IDENTITY TO SCAM WOMAN OUT OF MONEY CLAIMING THEY ARE SELLING FACIAL PRODUCTS!! This is not the first time a celebrity’s identity has been used to sell products on social media without their knowledge. Earlier this year Basetsana Khumalo and Pearl Thusi also fell prey to social media scams.
