Media personality Kayise Ngqula recently shared an emotional tribute to her late husband, Farai Sibanda, who tragically passed away in a car accident on June 22, 2019. Reflecting on their time together, Kayise took to her timeline to honour Farai’s memory with a touching message.
“We will never forget you. Thank you for the greatest gift of all, the superhuman that is Tinashe. He is a resemblance of you in heart and spirit in ways I cannot explain. Five years of grief and healing. Continue to rest in power and peace,” Kayise wrote, expressing both her enduring love and the profound impact Farai had on her life.
According to IOL Entertainment, Kayise opened up about her journey through grief, revealing how she has learned to cope with the immense loss. “Wounded but not broken is what I like to call my experience with loss and grief. It is a part of my journey that I get to tell with the utmost sense of assurance of passion with purpose. What the telling of my story has yielded for many women like me and myself is one I can never thank God enough for. This is the work that only He could assign me to,” she wrote.
Kayise’s words highlight the strength and resilience she has found in her faith. “I remain in awe of the God in me. That grace has brought me this far and each time I am asked to speak of my experience of grief and loss, I speak from a place that only He dwells in,” she added, emphasising the deep spiritual connection that has guided her through these difficult years.
As she continues to navigate her journey of healing, Kayise’s tribute serves as a powerful reminder of the enduring love she holds for Farai and the legacy he left behind in their son, Tinashe. Through her candid reflections, Kayise offers hope and inspiration to others who are also experiencing loss, showcasing the incredible strength that comes from sharing one’s story.
