In a shocking turn of events, Kay B has been disqualified from the Big Brother Mzansi house. This decision follows a serious investigation into allegations made by fellow housemate Beekay, who claimed he was physically violated by Kay B. The show’s organisers, Mzansi Magic, released an official statement explaining the reason behind the disqualification, stating that the safety of all housemates is their top priority.

Big Brother Mzansi’s statement clarified, “In light of a conversation in the Big Brother Mzansi house concerning a housemate (Beekay) who claimed that he was physically violated by fellow housemate (Kay B), Big Brother investigated the matter further as the safety of all housemates is of utmost importance.”

The statement continued, “After careful consideration, taking into account the serious nature of the claim, Big Brother has decided that the housemate in question (Kay B) will be disqualified from the Big Brother house. This decision closely follows an educational session that was held with all the housemates this past Sunday to raise awareness and instil knowledge about gender-based violence.”

Mzansi Magic, which broadcasts Big Brother Mzansi, also took to social media to announce the disqualification, stating: “KayB’s behaviour has caused serious offence to fellow housemates and due to this misconduct, she has been disqualified. Mzansi Magic does not condone any acts that threaten the safety and wellbeing.”

The statement emphasised the seriousness of the incident, adding, “Due to Kay B’s disqualification, voting for this week will be closed immediately because she was in the voting round for eviction. This is to ensure fairness and adhere to voting procedures for all remaining housemates.”

The decision to disqualify Kay B came after an intense week, which included an educational session aimed at addressing gender-based violence. It’s clear that the show’s producers wanted to make a firm stance against any behavior that compromises the well-being of its contestants.

Social media reactions have been mixed, with fans expressing sympathy for both Beekay and Kay B. One fan, @symply_kimm, expressed concern for Beekay, saying, “I feel so bad for Beekay. He’s going to blame himself for her disqualification. He’s in tears.”

Others were less sympathetic toward Kay B. @tshoaniiey_m shared their disappointment, stating, “I’m so disappointed in KayB. What she did was really wrong & she deserved that disqualification. You literally went through a traumatic experience but you still had the gall to inappropriately touch other people? Yo ha.a I’m so annoyed!”

However, some fans were more understanding of Kay B’s actions. @ThuliSaul_ commented, “Bye KayB. The outside world will surely treat you better! Your innocent playful behavior led you down! So sorry. You did apologize and we’re not making excuses but we understand. You took ownership of your act and that’s all that matters.”
