K.O’s album SR3 has been certified platinum in less than a year of release; with hits like ‘SETE’, ‘OWAMI’ & ‘ROCKABYE’ on it; it is no surprise that the album has gone platinum. Mr Cashtime dropped the album on September 16th, 2022. The artist announced the certification on Twitter, and at the loss of words for the love his craft received, this what he had to say;

In recognition of the album’s achievements; ‘SETE’ has, since its release, garnered more than 81M worldwide streams and was recently awarded a plaque in celebration of the 81M streams across the board. The song was so well received that Skhanda god released a remix to the song on March 24th, 2023 which featured acts such as Diamond Platnumz, Oxlade and Young Stunna. ‘SETE’, the original song topped charts consistently, it was number 1 on Radiomonitor for 19 consecutive weeks, setting a new record for topping radio charts consecutively.
The album has collected a number of accolades, such us, ‘SETE’ being crowned the most streamed song of 2022 on Spotify, it reached platinum status within 16 days of release; and it was the first SA record to reach 10M streams in 3 months of release.
Following in its footsteps is ‘ROCKABYE’, which features the amapiano sensation, TOSS. The hit is currently topping the Radiomonitor charts in the top 5 and has thus far amassed streams of over 285K globally, since release. The visuals to the single were released on Friday June 23rd, and overtook the net by storm and received much love, the video is currently sitting on more than 75K YouTube Views.
The album saw nominations for 7 categories at the 2023 Metro FM Awards and recently gained Mr Cashtime a B.E.T Awards nomination in the International Act category, this nomination was not only a recognition to K.O’s undeniable success in the hip hop space, it was also evidence of the international foot stamp of his craft.
