Jet Novuka Bids Farewell To Uzalo. There comes a time in an actors life when they have to spread their wings and embark on a new journey. This becomes a bitter sweet time for the actor as it makes way for new opportunity’s while on the other hand the fans are left heartbroken to see their favourite character on a show bid farewell.
This is the case for veteran actor Jet Novuka who plays the role of Captain Mpambani on the show recently took his final bow from one of Mzansi’s most watched shows, Uzalo. According to the Daily Sun publication, Novuka will be shot and killed and his body will be discovered today. According to producers the actor produced “great work” however, the show couldn’t grow his character beyond this, making it hard to keep on the show.
The news was first revealed around the time Dawn Thandeka King‘s exit was confirmed. Dawn who played the role of MaNgcobo recently left the show in April to pursue other career opportunity’s leading to Novuka‘s exit, as his character was centred around MaNgcobo. The veteran actor joined the much loved telenovela last year in July.
Other character many be departing from the show however, this has made way for exciting new characters such as reality star and businesswoman Shawn Mkhize and her bestie and reality star Tha Simelane. We have also seen the return of former cast members such as Khaya Dladla who plays the role of GC and Thobile played by Nokuthula Mabika.
