Jessica Nkosi Details How AKA Stood Up For Her When She Featured In ‘Caiphus Song’ Music Video. The actress has joined a cohort of other celebrities and notable names in the entertainment industry and beyond–who shared memorable moments of their interactions with AKA.

AKA’s passing shocked many people, with many social media users and celebrities expressing their sorrows. Since his passing some of his industry peers have been appreciating his uniqueness and benevolence they experienced while working with him.

Actress, Jessica Nkosi who featured in AKA’s ‘Caiphus Song’ visuals recently took to her Instagram stories to share her experience working with the late rapper. Jessica Nkosi portrayed the role of a bride, starring alongside Warren Masemola in the music video, speaking about the behind the scenes—the actress shared how AKA made sure she was paid what she had asked for.

“This was the day AKA asked me to be in his music video…I laughed and told him he couldn’t afford me,” the former ‘Isibaya’ actress captioned the Instagram story image. “Turns out he could afford. I remember my team telling me that he instructed his team to not try negotiate my price down, he told them to pay me exactly what was invoiced no matter how high it was. He understood that he hired actors in his video and wanted to pay me my worth,” Jessica detailed.

Jessica went on to share that her reverence for him was due to the fact that he was hospitable and gracious towards her and made sure that she was treated as a “Queen”. “My respect for AKA grew so much after this whole shoot. Such dedication and respect for our craft, respect for us as actors. And on set the only thing that was left was for me to be carried everywhere, we were so well taken care of. the best hair and make up team, an assistant assigned to me for the day, the works,” she said appreciatively.
