Media personality and actress Itumeleng Bokaba has decided to withdraw her rape case against controversial artist manager Nota Baloyi, citing a new career opportunity that requires her full attention.
In an Instagram post, Itumeleng shared the news with her followers, explaining that she had recently been presented with an exciting professional opportunity. “I have recently been presented with an amazing career opportunity, one I never saw coming but I know is truly aligned with my purpose,” she wrote. “This project requires my full focus and dedication, and for me to remain in a positive headspace so I can give it my best.”
Itumeleng made it clear that her decision to withdraw the case was not an indication that she was dismissing her experience. “For this reason, I have decided to withdraw my case to focus fully on this exciting new chapter,” she continued. “However, this does not mean the case has been dismissed or that my experience is invalid. I remain firm in my truth and will revisit the case at a later stage when I am in a better position to do so.”
The actress expressed gratitude for the support she has received and announced her readiness for this new season of her life. “Right now, I welcome everyone to join me in this new season of my life. I am excited, grateful and ready to step into the work God has placed in front of me,” she said. “Thank you to everyone who has supported me on this journey, I appreciate you more than words can express. The best is yet to come.”
