Is This Bonang’s Response To Black Twitter Speculating She Had Beef With Lorna? It’s not a secret that Bonang Matheba and Lorna Maseko’s friendship has had its ups and downs just like any long term friendship does.
After ending the second season of Being Bonang on such a high in their friendship, black twitter was surprised to not see Lorna when the hit reality show came back for its third season. Others felt Lorna had been replaced by Boity who featured on the first episode only and seem to be hanging out with Bonang more than Lorna did. Because of these clues, black twitter concluded that there must have been a little beef between the BFFs.
Fast forward to this week when Lorna launched her cook book in Joburg whilst Bonang is living it up in America. Lorna took to social media sharing a video showing off her congratulatory flowers from Bonang. “Thank you my gorgeous flowers @bonang_m – to the moon and back,” Lorna shared to which Bonang responded saying, “Congratulations my baby!! Sorry I couldn’t be there. We are SO PROUD OF YOU!! big party when I’m back.”
This is the first time the two friends have tweeted each other in a while. Fans and critics got excited at this “online reunion” and shared how beautiful and mature Lorna and Bonang are for not publicizing their disagreements and always finding their way back to each other. Bonang then tweeted something that made us question whether it was her response to all the speculations about her friendship with Lorna.
“…..ya’ll know more about me than I do,” Bonang tweeted. Do you think this was related to the Lorna talk or nah? We think it was.
