Inside The Soft Life Senohe Matsoara Lived After Aiding Thabo Bester’s Prison Escape. The man who worked for ‘G4S’—a security company tasked with guarding the correctional facility where Thabo faked his death and escaped has also been entangled in the elaborate escape. It is alleged that he received a big payout for his help which enabled him to live an opulent life.
On the 17th of March, GroundUp broke the news that a man known as Thabo Bester dubbed the ‘Facebook Rapist’ had been seen in Sandton shopping with his partner, Nandipha. Photos of Thabo had been widely shared on social media. It is reported that Bester had allegedly faked his own death in prison, by deceiving people that he had died in a prison fire at the ‘Mangaung Correctional Centre’ in Bloemfontein. Bester had been in prison for committing different types of heinous crimes, robberies, murder, fraud and rape.
Many people have been fingered for allegedly helping Thabo commit the brazen escape. One person being a security gaurd, Senohe Matsoara who is reported to have reported for his duty on a day he wasn’t supposed to, a day which happened to be the day Thabo escaped from prison.
It is reported by TimesLive that he was fired for assisting “Facebook Rapist” Thabo Bester in his daring escape from ‘Mangaung Correctional Centre’. He boasted on social media about a brand-new car before and after the audacious jailbreak. Most of his Facebook posts showed him at opulent venues and always travelling, something that he hadn’t been doing before Thabo had escaped.
It seems that the plot to the whole story keeps getting interesting and bizarre. Dr Nandipha’s father and Matsoara got arrested on charges of murder over the weekend. It is reported that their arrest is linked to possible bodies buried at the Hydepark hideout.
This comes after it had been discovered that Nandipha Magudumana allegedly stole three unidentified bodies from Free State mortuaries and claimed insurance from reporting that her father, brother, and husband had died. Matsoara and Nandipha’s dad appeared at the ‘Bloemfontein Magistrates’ Court’ on Tuesday, 17 April.The pair will appear again in the same court on April 17 for their bail application proceedings.
