Controversial blogger and Diamond & Dolls star Innocent ‘Inno’ Morolong has been found guilty by the Randburg Magistrate’s Court in a defamation case involving TV personality Tebogo Thobejane, TshisaLIVE reports. The court ruling, which took place on Thursday, stems from a dispute between the two women over claims of crime injuria and defamation.

Earlier this year, Inno Morolong went on an Instagram Live rant, making serious allegations against Tebogo, accusing her of being a scammer, sex worker, pimp, and “muti” user. These comments led to the legal battle that resulted in Morolong’s conviction.

Tebogo Thobejane expressed her relief and satisfaction with the court’s decision. “I am pleased with the verdict and grateful for the fairness demonstrated by the court. This marks a significant step forward, and I will await the sentencing process. My focus is on regaining my dignity and moving forward with integrity,” she told TshisaLIVE.

The National Prosecuting Authority confirmed that the case will return to court on January 14 for the mitigation hearing, with sentencing set for January 23.

According to TshisaLIVE, Inno Morolong was unavailable for comment following the verdict.
