Zola is slowly but surely making his come back to television and we must say we absolutely love it!
The year started off with Zola being featured in Vuzu’s hit drama Ayeye and then he moved on to Isibaya and we must say he’s acting skills have shocked a lot of people and most of us were actually impressed by them.
It may not be the Zola 7 show but Zola will be back in the presenting game to host a show called Utatakho that focuses on resolving issues concerning paternity by using DNA testing. The show aims to give the individuals involved the opportunity to answer questions about their biological fathers that they’ve never been able to answer before.
Zola will act as the mediator and investigator in tackling the difficult topic of absent fathers. Utatakho will feature in depth interviews that will explore the motivations, concerns and future hopes of the three most important persons in each episode – father, mother and most importantly the child.
“I really wanted to be involved in this particular program because it tackles a subject that is very relevant to many South Africans, and very close to my own heart. I want people to see that they can engage, that there can be a powerful positive outcome to years of questions, that using a combination of science and respect, we can have meaningful conversations about paternity, family, future. I think audiences will be inspired and moved by the stories that are told on this show.” said Zola
Utatakho will debut on Tuesday, July 7th at 19:30 on Mzansi Magic (DStv channel 161)
