When Trevor Noah first took over from Jon Stewart, we really thought that that was the best decision the show has ever made but, it looks like the South African is yet to win over the American audiences.
You would think that ratings would go up considering that Trevor is a comedian loved all over the world.
It’s only been a month since Trevor started as the host of The Daily Show and viewership has dropped by a massive 37%, according to Salon magazine.
That’s closer to 50% than it is to 0%, well on the plus side they also share that the viewership in the 18 – 24 demographic increased by 20% congratulations for bringing in the youth Trev!
It’s still too early to tell what the drop in viewership may mean for Trevor’s future with the show but, it looks like it’s going to take a while for him to fill Jon’s shoes, who hosted the show for 16 years.
Well for the mere fact that he raised the youth demographic, we definitely think Trevor will ace it eventually.
