the soil so happy

If you ever decide to make a list of the Top 5 South African musical groups that are truly successful The Soil has definitely got to be a part of your Top 3.

The award-winning A Capella trio has certainly put our country on the map for all the right reasons. Not so long ago they were representing SA at the BET awards and now they have just announced that their album Nostalgic Moments, will be released and distributed all over Europe.

The groups record label, Native Rhythms have released a statement regarding this huge achievement for the trio.

“The distribution deal will result in The Soil’s platinum-selling and award-winning album, Nostalgic Moments, being released in the United Kingdom and throughout Europe on 24 July by Proper Music Distribution, and supported by one of the most-sought-after exclusive booking agencies, Serious – a producer of live jazz, international and contemporary music,” reads the statement.

The Soil is also scheduled to perform at the Womad Festival in the United Kingdom on the 25th of July 2015.

We are honestly so proud of them and we wish their album nothing but success in Europe. Congratulations guys!
