Over the weekend rumours sparked that Pearl Thusi and Phat Joe have been taken off radio because of their constant ‘bashing’ of their fellow colleague, Bonang Matheba.
Pearl was quick to take to Twitter to laugh the claims off and was on air Saturday evening. We guess she had her reason to laugh.
It’s been confirmed that a number of listeners have called into the station to complain about Pearl and Phat Joe’s constant bashing of the Queen B.
Speaking to The Juice, SABC spokesperson Kaizer Kganyago confirms that the duo has been taken off air due to a conflict that Pearl has with management.
“There are issues between Pearl Thusi and management at Metro. For that reason they are not being scheduled until they have dealt with the issue between them,” Kaizer says.
He could not confirm that the issue was in fact the Pearl and Bonang drama but, it’s pretty easy to guess right? What else could it be?
The two have been involved in a number of incidents on social media throwing shade at each other like nobody’s business.
Let’s hope it’s all sorted soon, it would be crazy to lose your job over some silly beef.
