Ok, we don’t know about you but, this happens way too often where South African musicians release album art that looks EXACTLY the same as an international art’s album art.

Thanks For Letting Us Know…Delayed Release Date…

black coffee pieces of me

Earlier this week DJ Black Coffee released his album art and announced the release date of his 5th album. Now you know how ‘black Twitter’ can get, Coffee’s fans quickly realised that his album artwork and the title of the album was EXACTLY the same as an album that already exists.

This could be a case of ‘great minds think alike’ but people aren’t letting this one slide. Coffee’s puzzle pieces may be smaller than Ledisi’s but damn, the title of the album is the same too?

The DJ’s record label was quick to see people’s complaints and later released a statement and assured fans that they are dealing with the issue at hand.

Right after that Coffee took to Instagram to share that the release date of the album has been moved because he only wants to give us the best music. Uhmmm…maybe his team is working on a new cover, let’s hope he’s not copying anyone this time around.
