Despite being the host of a reality show ‘Our Perfect Wedding’, Thembisa Mdoda has managed to keep her personal life out of the spotlight until now, well kind of.

The TV presenter and actress is shedding a little light on her story with ex husband actor Atandwa Kani. Remember that story about Atandwa finding that the twins he fathered with Thembisa Mdoda were not his thought DNA test? Well, Thembisa indirectly addressed the story in an interview on Cliff central.

Asked how she deals with social media hate, Mdoda says she doesn’t seek validation from anybody. “I’m so grateful that this stereotype that we’re talking about has changed a bit with me personally because I’ve had so much support with everything that’s been going on in my life.”

“Guys, I had to sit and watch a guy bastardize his children for likes. Look I’ve been through it. I’ve been through it all,” she said.

So what keeps the girl on the rise positive? Thembisa says it’s the support she gets from women all over the continent. “The amount of support I’m getting from women I don’t even know, from Namibia, Zambia, Kenya, women email me and send me Facebook posts… that is giving me the strength to say ‘look women you are doing it’ “, she said.
