Metro FM radio personality Lerato Kganyago says she feels better than ever after her breast reduction surgery. The 42-year-old star opened up about her journey on social media, sharing that for the first time in years, she hasn’t had any back pain.

“I haven’t felt this good in a while. I still wear my support bra. It’s helpful,” Lerato said in a recent Instagram post.

The popular radio host explained that she chose to have breast reduction surgery because her large breasts were causing her serious back problems. The pain had become too much, and she knew something had to change.

Now, after the surgery, Lerato says the difference is unbelievable. “I feel so good. My back feels amazing. The weight is literally off my shoulders,” she said.

Lerato had her surgery done in Tshwane and made sure to find a surgeon whose work she trusted. She said she was proud to support local doctors instead of traveling overseas. “We’ve got some of the best surgeons in the world and it works out so much cheaper instead of you travelling abroad, but it’s just personal preference,” she said.

Interestingly, Lerato revealed that her husband was not supportive of the idea at first. However, now that he sees the difference it has made in her life, he can’t stop noticing how much better she looks and feels.

The radio star shared that she went through a full breast reduction without getting implants. “It was going to defeat the purpose because remember the intention was to get the extra weight off my body,” she explained.

Even though she is feeling great, Lerato said she hasn’t gone bra shopping yet. She feels that moment will be very emotional for her. “I feel like it’s going to be really emotional for me and I will tell you some other day why because I said this is life-changing,” she added.
